But, history has witnessed that greatness in art has been snuffed, tortured, ridiculed and even forced to get buried under a veil of ignominy and indignity, without ever seeing the light of recognition and accolades they rightly deserved.
Navdeep Pratishthan, sponsored by Navdeep Charitable Trust is every budding artist’s Mecca. This non-profitable organization recognizes, encourages and recommends artists , whose works exude talent and hold definite promise for future growth. Their works need not have been previously acknowledged or recognized.
The Trust believes that all cultural activities can blossom only if they are nourished at grass root levels so that the naturally endowed is recognized and allowed to bloom, without suffering an unnatural end.
Navdeep Pratishthan is sponsored by Navdeep Charitable Trust. The Trust is over more than two decades old and has to its credit founded many educational institutions and organized several social activities in Ahmedabad and elsewhere.
Navdeep Pratishthan’s crusade is to make sure that oozing talent, of the artists does not get lost like a rudderless ship but positively gets noticed and hailed.
Navdeep Pratishthan has been organizing camps, workshops, religious discourses and honouring deserving artists with prestigious awards in the fields of dance, sculpture and music, since 1992, like the Navdeep Sanskritik Pratishthan for sculpture, Navdeep Puraskar and Medal for dancing and the Navdeep Pratishthan Puraskar in music.
Developing talent, believes the trust, should be credited with the recognition
and encouragement it deserves, right at the foundation level, so that with
the right impetus and direction, it bears fruit.
This organization is headed by its Chairman, Shri Deepak Navnitlal Parikh.
